Yoga for Men-June 23, 2013 from 4-6pm
Looking for a good Father’s Day gift for your husband or father? Wanting to share your practice with your son or another male love? This is your opportunity! Last month, we offered a practice celebrating women and now its our turn to celebrate men. You could call it “Broga”. Robbie will lead this practice which will be more physically based to offer a challenge in a fun and rewarding way. Did you know yoga was originally created for men, by men? We will also be offering every man who attends a special discount towards future class passes if they wish to pursue the practice more. This event is scheduled for Sunday, June 23rd from 4-6pm. Pre-registration is necessary so sign up now. The cost is $30/per person.
YOGA JOURNAL CONFERENCE in Estes, Colorado September 22-29, 2013
Kris Shaw is opening her family home for a small group of Half Moon Healing Yogis to stay while attending the annual yoga conference in Estes, Co. This is something I have wanted to attend for years daydreaming of the ideal schedule of classes and teachers to choose from. This year we will be going! They are offering a 3 day immersion with Baron Baptiste and his power flow. They are also offering opportunities with Shiva Rea, Sharon Gannon and David Life, Cindy Lee, Judith Lasater, Gary Kraftsow, Rod Stryker, Seane Corn and others such as a kirtan concert led by Krishna Das. You do not have to attend the conference the entire time..you can evidently choose how many days and which particular events or classes you want to participate in.
